Option 1 - 2022 XR, 25K miles, third favorite color

Option 2 - 2023 non-XR, 17k miles, favorite color

Option 3 - Wait for more options

Cost and vehicle condition being comparable, what option would you choose?
To me color is not as important as options but some colors r deal breakers

Ordered it just before it was discontinued for the '21 model year.

I get tons of complements on it.
It's really a deep indigo, so it often looks purple in certain light.

I think of it as a classic 'hot rod' kind of color. It's just a bit different then the other 'blues' you see on the street.

Four years on and it still looks stunning to me.
So get a color you love. You're the one who looks at it every day.

If it were me, I would seriously look at @Ratbert s sheet and see if custom ordering new would be comparable to what you can find used. I bought a 2024 JLUR XR from one of those dealers for what I would have paid for a Sport locally. My wife insisted on Anvil over the Hydro Blue that I wanted, but it was more important for me to NOT have the E-Torque or the turbo(simplicity, relatively speaking). This Jeep gets dirty often, and if it gets a scratch or two, so be it. With the Anvil, don’t care. If I get sick of the red accents, I can change them to pretty much any other color without clashing.

if you choose black, it will be the color of whatever it's reflecting

Eh… white does that too when it’s all dolled up. And it’s not dusty an hour later like black is either 😉
I’ve had one black vehicle in my life and even though it was a spotless 22k mile ‘87 Buick Grand National, as soon as you were done detailing it, dust would settle on it quickly. When that car had an untimely demise, I never wanted another black vehicle again.

In 87 you could also get the Regal turbo with the we4 package in white. It wasn’t as pretty as the gnx but today they all look good.

Right. Yep, saw a few of the T types around. More of a cushy version but basically the same. A GNX would be great. I wonder how many of the 547 are still around.

all i see is white bro :CWL:

This is black that hasn't been washed in several weeks and by wash I mean a shitty touchless car wash. The last handwash it's had I can't even remember. It keeps it's mirror like quality even when it's covered by dust and water spots.

They stopped making the best color, sting gray. I’d hold out for that. 😉👍

The Grand National’s de smogged and tuned engine would have been a great swap for a 66-71 Buick V6 CJ5. 😃
