How do these alignment numbers look after lift.

Have a Clayton 3.5” overland lift on JLURD. 38” tires on 17” KMC grenades. Mostly concerned with the rear toe numbers. I have 8 adjustable control arms as well as track bars. Wondering if I need to adjust a lower control arms in the rear?

You have a solid rear axle, there is no way to adjust the toe in the rear. If you can turn your front left lower control arm out one turn it might help bring that caster up. 5° is a little low for a lifted JL.

I know that it’s solid but was thinking if I lengthen the driver side rear control arm it may add a little to the driver side and take a little away from the passenger side? Maybe I am overthinking it … I know there is no actual toe adjustment like the front. The caster that was recommended by Clayton is 4.8°+\- 1.0° which is why I stopped there. I do have an Adams front drive shaft.

The more caster you have, the more return to center you will feel at the wheel. Yes, the official spec is what was given to you, but the closer to the maximum 5.8° you get the better it will be, until you start getting driveline vibes. But typically those aren't seen until you go past 6° at a minimum. I've heard of some running near seven degrees even.

As far as the rear goes, I wouldn't mess with it unless you detect it driving doglegged. It's near enough to center that I doubt it.

As said above if it drives good and there are no wandering issues I would leave it. I like 6 plus on caster but again if its driving good.... Take readings with a grain of salt anyways. Sometimes they are not spot on.

Opinions are like, things you get for free from a bunch of yahoos on the Interwebs.

If it ain't broke, adjust your caster. I mean, if it drives fine, DO NOT adjust your caster. If the rig drives the way you want it, why on earth would you adjust anything? Don't. If it doesn't drive the way you want it, then make the adjustments necessary to "fix" the issue. Otherwise, if it ain't broke, don't listen to people on the Interwebs telling you to start (un)fixing it.
