It doesn't when the hood struts are engaged. There is a tab you can push down to disengage them so you can fold the windshield back.

Yeah I’m going to be honest, I don’t usually like installing cheap parts, but I figured hey, they’re free and it gives me something to make a video about (I enjoy making how-to’s).

As far as the insulation, you don’t have to completely remove it, however I’m installing some metal Poison Spyder hood vents soon so I went ahead and yanked it all out. Then I ran over it. By accident lol
