for the same price a neoprene cover will do a better job protecting the line i would think, plus there is a benefit to watching how the line is spooling on

i like to have the winch recessed in the bumper for a couple of reasons:
- its covered and protected.
- block out any weather.
- cleaner look
- free up air flow
- the hook is covered by the l-plate.

i'll be running syn-lines on a warn 9500ti winch and looking at getting the arb classic winch bumper.
