Nice. Do you know if the skid row fits with the asfir skid plate?
It should if the ASFIR eliminates that front skid crossmember, but looking at this pic it appears that crossmember stays on

You could probably install without that transmission "skid". But I bet they left it there for structural support, so it wont flex and hit the exhaust pipe on a hard hit. It becomes a heavier skid then if you add the weigh of that cross member.

Yeah, that's a pretty long section of aluminum to go without that support there. FWIW I think that factory crosspiece is pretty light, less than 10 pounds IIRC.

Hard to beat the price for full aluminum, and even factoring shipping from Israel it's a smokin deal. Look forward to your updates. Did you get the transfer case skid too??

I didnt. Because it goes on top of the current steel plate. Honestly i dont see the point of that. My stock tcase plate is holding alright

Install was pretty easy. There are no instructions but the exploded BOM was enough for me to figure it out. A few tips. Start by installing the 2 brackets that go up on the engine (?) Mount, but leave the bolts lose. Then attach the very end on the large cross member, itll help when lifting the front up, I didnt do this but i think itd make it easier. Then install the front little bolts that go on the brackets, leave them lose. I was able to fit my electric ratchet but one of them i had to use a small 1/4 ratchet. The BOM tells you to put with the bold end facing out of the skid, and i did that but I noticed one of them was way too close to my front diff cover and I didnt like that, so I turned them around (bolt head out) i suggest you do that. Then the c-clips that connect the skid to the trans cross member make sure you take a look at the holes of the oem skid and the trans skid and place the c-clips accordingly so everything lines up.

Oh and one last thing. I put the front axle on small 3ton jackstands, just to have a little morr space, i think this made things pretty easy. If you have a lift over rubi height then you should be good to go.

All in all it was a bit more than an hr. If you go the way i did and get everything tight at the end it should be straighforward. Skid seems very sturdy and great quality. And seems like minimal ground clearance is lost.

I have the steel M.O.R.E. one on my 2 Door JL Manual Transmission.

Great quality, and well packaged. Photo dump below.

I have this as well and it is a perfect fit. Covers the things you want protected. Mine is an automatic.
I like that it's made in the USA.
