Help me decide trans skid plate

The Asfir skid removes the cross member.

The ASFIR aluminum engine/trans skid plate does not remove a cross member. You have to remove the cross member to install the ASFIR kit, but then the cross member bolts right back on.

I like my ASFIR and the pricing was great.

I think it depends what motor, AFAIK the 3.6 the cross member isn't removed.
