So new to me jeep in a Rubcion RHD 2022. I was about to order rear diff covers for it. I just checked the VIN sheet and it shows me
Rear DANA M70/267mm
Front 5500# w/hub extension
Tru-Lok

So my question is would the DANA 44 M220 diff covers from ARB/AFE/Curries etc fit onto my vehicle?
When I did look visually the diff cover resembled the M220 diff covers posted by members here.

Attaching the picture of my diff. Weird is that it looks like the DANA 44 M220!! My VIN says Dana 70.
So Im confused.
Can someone measure the distance between the bolts for me so I can verify it.

Do you have a Dana M70 267mm? Do you have right hand drive? If you post a pic showing the overall measurements and bolt spacing measurements of your diff cover I am willing to compare them to my M220 sometime this weekend.

My VIN says I have a DANA 70 but when I look at it and the picture you posted I dont see any difference. Yes I have the RHD in India.
I will take measurements tomorrow and hopefully solve this mystery so I can order my diff covers.

Can you post a screenshot or picture of where you are seeing it is a Dana 70?

I think a regular Dana 70 like in heavy duty trucks is different from the Dana M70 you are showing but I’m not sure

Ok, Iā€˜m barely a carpenter, so this is my best effort at the crayon user level. All measurements are approximations from center of allen bolt head to center of bolt head.. The width and height are from a kluged together trammel. Height between the center of top and bottom bolt heads is approximately 9.375ā€. Width from center of bolt heads is approximately 9.125ā€. My diff skid doesnā€˜t allow an accurate measurement between the bottom two holes.

When they won’t even use a D-50 here even with the *V8 when Bronco uses a D-50, it certainly isn’t a 3/4 ton PU D-70. The size difference should be an easy eyeball, my PU has an 80 so no 70 pic but the damn thing is Huge. The ground clearance between it and my Jeep is substantial and the PU has true 35’s, not 33.8ā€ C’s mounted with weight squat.

* possibly avoiding the weak point 4-auto TC
