Got my Rubicon this week and I have an issue. The block heater I ordered with the cold weather package was not installed.

Can you guys help? Please.

My 2014 RAM came with a cold weather package , it had a cover for the grill to keep ice and snow out and it had a block heater.....but it has a place on the block for me to purchase and install the cord

@JeepCares I DM'd you at the beginning of the week with no response. I am almost 45 days in KZ and all Jeep chat can tell me is that my Jeep should be there soon even though it has been stuck on a storage lot in Willow Lake MI on March 9th.

@JeepCares I DM'd you at the beginning of the week with no response. I am almost 45 days in KZ and all Jeep chat can tell me is that my Jeep should be there soon even though it has been stuck on a storage lot in Willow Lake MI on March 9th.

Jeep has to insure your welds begin to show signs of pitting and rust “before” it’s released for delivery. You must’ve gotten a solid looking frame so it’s taking a little longer!

I would like to be in a new JLUR for summer in Canada and time is getting tight. I’m getting a little vexed about the loosey goosey timelines from FCA about the mojito.

Despite this I’m Probally going to give up on the mojito dream and go to punk’n colour which is a distant second choice.

I’m going to order punk’n on Wednesday unless I can get a concrete mojito timeline to order... I don’t want to regret my purchase.


Again I know these are first world problems ..... but that being said I want what I want !

Not to burst your bubble on spending the summer off roading in your new JLUR.
Currently FCA is incapable of getting their current orders filled.
There are a few other post on here talking about this current problem. Folks like myself who ordered 1/11 have yet to receive our JLUR. An email from the factory yesterday said they currently have 30,000 vehicles they are trying to get shipped out when they should normally have 2,500. If this is the case it would lend one to believe the reports that there was some sort of major problem with the production in the first few months. This has caused a massive backup with orders. There are other confirmed reports the factory has and continues to run out of parts to complete orders. Anotherwords it seems FCA is new at building vehicles, go figure!
The Jeep care folks will try their best to help and answer questions, when the reality is they do not have any power or control to do anything to help or resolve your problems.

My order along with 29,999 other folks are stuck in KZS with no ETA, currently at this rate summer will be over and we can cancel our orders and order the 2019.

Yeah, there are a lot of pissed off folks who have ordered these JL thinking they would be spending their time off road and instead find themselves on JL forms complaining.

Great question.

Currently there are 29,999.99 + my vehicle that are waiting to be shipped.
I’m sure eventually the factory will work through all of their problems including shipping.
How long is anyone’s guess. The sting ray gray is a killer color. Have you tried to build the vehicle on jeep.com and search inventory to see if any dealerships around you already has one? I have seen post of dealerships having this color on their lot.

There are several people who ordered their Jeep's a month ago that are getting their Jeep before those of us in the holding lots. Basically it seems like Jeep will deliver yours to you if it is coming off the line and if there is extra room on the rail car then they will add backlog vehicles... You know great customer service. It is also a crap shoot what colors will be out next year.

I searched today and found my order saying in transit. My order is the only fully loaded JLUR within 150 miles of me. All the other orders have a little of this and some of that, none with every option.
I say on YouTube a few dealerships showing off the stingray gray for sale.
It is a crap shoot on how long it will take them to get you your order.
