  1. I’m finally finished with my build! Hope to give others ideals for their build.

Hi yes!! One of the most important things to have done is having your vehicle weighed at a truck scale, front, rear and entire vehicle. with this number you can have a shock tuning company re-valve the shocks for the weight of your vehicle. Night and day difference between the two.

good morning I purchased the ikamper upgraded mounting brackets, it makes it really easy to install and remove. I use a screw gun with a socket extension. I too remove mine. I purchased the 2020 diesel, the MPG compared to the V6 is night and day. I’m averaging on trips with the diesel 26 mpg...

  6. Alternator request

My buddy sent me this posting i have been getting these emails since 256 miles and I’m now at 5689 miles. the dealership replaces the alternator, fried the PCM, fired both of the batteries, had to wait for a new PCM, the replacement alternator put out less charge vs the original one. They...

Hi Sorry for the late reply No problems on the road, drives great I just finished my 2020 diesel build, just got back from an 1800 mile trip where 600 miles were off road. I’ll do a write up on that build. The diesel is a monster off road!
  8. I’m finally finished with my build! Hope to give others ideals for their build.

Hi Daniel thank you Great question The first thing I would do is ask yourself what are you planning on doing? Over nighters or long stays in one spot How much are you really going to do this? From there make a budget for what you can afford to buy. All of the stuff on this build was done after...
  9. I’m finally finished with my build! Hope to give others ideals for their build.

Hi Thanks! I tied into the cigarette lighter outlet on driver-side rear. When I get some time I’ll post my new build. I got the 2020 diesel, just got back from a 1800 mile trip, 600 miles were off road.
  10. Start of 3.0 Production

Wow, that was fast! It feels like only a month ago that I ordered my JLUR diesel and it is already hear! I guess my order was one of the last to be evacuated before the plant was closed. Considering we are on lockdown I’ll have time to swap over the stuff from my 2018 to it. My order date you...
  11. It has been confirmed I have a rear main seal leak! Unreal!

Good morning Here is what I personally observed, Oil leak rear main seal. Dealership confirmed and ordered the part. I checked the oil level and it was a solid qt too much oil. While waiting for the part (took more than a month) I did a few off road trips. I noticed the leaking had stopped...
  12. It has been confirmed I have a rear main seal leak! Unreal!

On my vehicle I had both a rear main seal leak and a transfer case leak. The first rear man leak was due to the dealership putting in to much oil when they did a oil change.

Beside our radio set up, my ARB twin air compressor is used every time I hit the dirt. Next would be the ARB refrigerator.
  16. Factor 55...Flatlink vs Flatlink Expert vs Ultrahook

I have the Ultrahook with the guard on it. I have used it a lot over the past two years. The reason I went with this model was it give you two options of either a closed or hooked system. The hook has a locking pin that can be used to make sure the latch will not open on the hook. Their are...
  17. So!!! Getting ready to go rough camping? Show your gear!!

Here is my current setup I’ll do around 17+ major trips a year and a dozen or more day trips, roughly around 90 days or so a year off road camping. We try to go to places less traveled and where you need a good off road rig to get there. The cabinet system is 100% carbon fiber, the drawer...
  18. It has been confirmed I have a rear main seal leak! Unreal!

I’m confused as to why the dealership is claiming that mud would have caused a rear main seal to leak. With their same logic if you went into 30” deep of water, could the water enter the engine? The wrangler was built for off roading, FCA has done all kinds of marketing of the capabilities of...

If you got the factory switches the same wires under the hood are also inside behind the glovebox. The wires are on the backside of the blower motor behind the glovebox.
