Has anyone done a resonator delete?

Put a Borla Atak exhaust on recently, not as loud as I thought it would be honestly.

Has anyone done a resonator delete on their Jeep, how do you find it? Is there any serious droning?

Any suggestions other than a CAI to probably help with the sound? Afraid a CAI will void warranty, haven't had a chance to ask.

Well, i have done the muffler delete. i dont mind the sound of the resonator but i recently bought a Thrush Rattler muffler that i am going to be putting in place of the Resonator ...... but i like loud and obnoxious..... LOL

Almost removed mine on the trail.

In all seriousness, a resonator delete would probably result in a very loud and raspy exhaust note. Haven’t heard of anyone deleting it.

Borla’s crawler exhaust replaces the resonator with an S-type muffler (no stock suitcase in the back either)...not sure if they still make it but I’ve had mine on a bit over the year and like it.

I put a borla stinger cat back on mine and it deletes the resonator and just has a small muffler. It tucks up high and you cant barely even see the tailpipe. I like, nice note without being too loud or droney
