anyone know of any good replacement bulbs? Not really wanting to go led route or any other high dollar options. Just wanting brighter and little more distance bulb without the yellowish color to them. Thanks!

I swapped mine for Philips Xtreme Vision bulbs. They're better than OEM, but only marginally so. I think the reflector design limits lighting improvements more than the bulb itself.

Very easy, just a few plastic pins along the top and the whole grill can be pulled off. Then three bolts per head light to remove them and access the bulb. Just make sure that you don't touch the glass portion of the bulb with your fingers during installation or the oily residue will cause the bulb to burn out much quicker than normal.

Pull straight out or at and angle. I'm assuming plastic clips also?

Don't put LED or HID bulbs in the stock reflector housing. They are designed for the light pattern of halogen bulbs. There are other threads on the forum where some defend them claiming they don't blind oncoming drivers or scatter the light all over. Do research of lighting experts (not people who just buy them and think they are great).
There are brighter halogen lights that will burn marginally hotter/brighter and burn out quickly like the ones saltyaggie mentioned. They are costly to keep replacing every 6 to 12 months. If you want bright, high quality lights buy complete packages like Truckee or KC from somewhere like Quadratec. They are very expensive but are quality that will last. I've had KC LED headlights on my JK for 5 years.

So far just the Mopar replacement lights. Others will follow soon.
