Just got these in the mail Friday. I went with the GPCA because I wanted to add some color accents to my mostly white JLU and they have lots of handle color choices. Plus the design allows you to flip the handle up out of the way. And they have accessories like the sunglass case that are easy to attach. Got them on sale, so price was pretty good. Accessories like the sunglass case are kind of pricey, but I liked the idea and it's really convenient.

Now that you have had it awhile...thoughts? How accessible is the pouch with the roof on?

I like them!

Pouch is very accessible with roof on.

It seems I need to retighten the velcro as the handles don't stay in the "up" position as well as they did when I installed them.

Biggest potential problem...I just got my Sunrider for Hardtop and I am pretty sure I won't be able to use the GPCA handles with the Sunrider mounted. Stay tuned...

Those that have had these a while, the way the handles can flip up and stay there, does that continue to work as intended after a while? If so how long have yours worked for you as intended. I'm looking at these and the Mopar handles and the flip up factory would make these the prime candidate if the feature doesn't wear out.

I have the "lite" version of these. The handles will stay in the "up" position when the velcro straps are nice n' tight. They'll get a little loose as you pull on them but you just have to tighten the straps every now and then and they'll go back to staying up.

I also have the sunglasses/accessory pouch and am pleased with it. It's easy to open one handed and stays in place. My only gripe is that mounting it to the driver-side front strap is annoying when you're actually off road. It bumps into my forehead every time I lean out the window for a better view or to hear my spotter. So I ended up moving it to the the crossbar. I have a sun shade that used the elastics bands so I just attached it to one of the overhead straps behind the passenger seat. No complaints now.

@Horsemover here is some photos to show the clearance with the hard top.

I'm 6' tall. The case does not block my vision or feel close to my head...but I also don't drive off-road...yet... 🙃

I do duck my head down a little when I get in and out to clear the handle, but it doesn't bother me.

@Horsemover so yup all good with the GPCA hand grips and the Sunrider for Hard Top.

I just had to fold back the material that wraps around the bar to get it to fit.

Exactly what I did to get mine to work.
I was glad it was that simple. Before I installed the Sunrider, I thought maybe I couldn't use the GPCA grips. Sometimes you get lucky...and or maybe Bestop was smart enough to design the side bars so hand grips could still be mounted. :)
