Got LSD ? Got question for you

DID your JL factory LSD required additional fiction modifier to oil already containing it ?

buy an oil with the Friction Modifier in it and forget about it.

the factory LSD doesn't do much and won't last long anyway.
It does work for my intended use, the one on the JK lasted over 100k KM

judging by your questions, yes, most likely.

i’ve only had 2 TracLoks, but it was the same with both those i’ve had.

there’s no way around it; clutch pack Limited Slips will wear out. the clutches are a wear item.
the additives just try to keep them operating smoother while they do.

in neither case did i replace with another clutch pack LSD. the gear-driven LSD in my older J**p is still working perfectly hundreds of thousands of miles later with no special care whatsoever.

I guess you and I have different experience when it come to factory LSD
