Looking at a 2024 4 door Sport S at local dealer. After rebates and incentives they are asking around $42k plus doc, taxes, etc. Being the end of year, any idea if that's a decent deal or think I can get a better deal? Never bought a brand new car so rebates and dealer incentives are all new things to me. Thanks in advance for any opinions and thoughts.

If you can share the VIN of the Jeep we can help you get the window sticker (if you have that already, even better).

then we’ll all the options and can maybe provide some guidance.

That is about 20% off of MSRP. That is a great deal, you had better grab it before somebody else does,

Seems like a great deal, yes!

The pricing of the transmission is nuts to me, but that is what it is

I've suggested before that the automatic transmission pricing is recurringly used by Stellantis to incentivize, or increase, the take rates of the 2.0T/850RE powertrain combination. In that example, the price has trended around $2,500.00.

Adding the auto to my 2.0T added only $1,500.00. Granted, that was back in late 2020.

I thought the issue finally came its natural end recently, when for a time the ZF 8-speed was available only with the turbo 4. It seems that is no longer the case, if recent posts on the subject are to be believed, but the subject certainly resonated with the membership here.

Thanks guys. Been going back and forth between a new '24 and a '18 Sahara with all bells and whistles for $28 out the door. Just don't know how much I want to spend. But love having that factory warranty. FYI, that $42k is with a $2,500 trade in but wife has a 08 Element that drives but nobody wants so that's not an issue. Thanks again for all the opinions.

Funny you mention that - I got a used ‘19 Sahara V6 Auto after having bad luck with my lemon of a ‘23 Rubicon 4xe.

I went the used route just to avoid ever having to deal with a warranty issue. I’d rather set aside the money for potential out-of-pocket repairs paid to a mechanic that I trust vs the disastrous experience I had both with my dealer and with Jeep corporate.

In any case - go get yourself a Jeep and report back. We love adding people to the community here!

Wow! 52k for basically what should be standard equipment on a Jeep Sport S. That 36k base price is really a teaser - not realistic. "oh, you want tires with that car, that will be extra..."

No wonder peole are not buying these any more.

So great to see you getting help/support here as this is an unprecedented time for purchasers of new 2023 & 2024 models ... Such good deals that I am unexpectedly diving in for a 2024 Gladiator and passing my JKUR (with only 40K miles) to my son.

Folks here need to give you advice on closing costs!! There are pre-installed "goodies" (LoJack, Protection Package, Etching etc) and also Taxable Fees and sometimes "Freight." I find this part of negotiations to be the absolute toughest.

Good Luck!

In Sept got 20% off MSRP on a JLUR: $64.7 sticker, $51.8 before TT&L. You should be able to do better with the EOY 8 days away. Go negotiate hard and walk if you can't get it for what you want to pay.

Rubicon X
I could have purchased a jeep rubicon or rubicon x $4500 cheaper before Nov 1st of this year than i could have since. Held off because I thought deals would get better not knowing that the dealer coupon program was not extended past Oct 31st. I dont qualify for the ford $2000 or any other specialized incentives. At the time it was the dealers discount, $6000 coupons, $3,000 bonus cash and $1000 private offer which was between 18-22% off msrp before tax, tags and doc fees. Since then the $3000 has become $3500 and the $1000 private offer has become $2000. The $6000 coupons from dealer has went away. This is why i say $4500 cheaper then than i could now. Still waiting to see what happens the next few weeks.
