Glove box organizer

I just looked at what I have and it’s a 300 pg book that came in this pouch and when in the glove box it comes right to the top and there is only one way to lay it in there so not sure I would put the organizer on top

What about one that goes deep in stages with one being deep one being about 1/2 as deep and the last only on top. They would all be wedge shaped but useful. I keep my book in mine and other paperwork on the Jeep bu the book is the biggest. Other stuff gets lost at the bottom.

I do love the trash can idea but currently use a metal hanging clip from behind my passenger seat headrest.

Know what might be cool....? Design the glove box tray with some less height, thereby making a pseudo secret compartment below.

The prototype is 2.5" deep and the glovebox itself is 9" deep to the deepest point. So the "secret" space under the tray is about 6.5". It is an odd space because the glove box comes to a point a the bottom.

I am personally happy with this prototype. I keep my manual in the cargo tub, under the floor. I rarely look at it, so having to go in the cargo is not too much hassle. I may move it under the rear seat once I get the Dirt Bagz Storage Bag.

I would increase the height of the separator, as I get the feeling stuff from the front will fly to the rear compartment once the box is closed.

If keeping the manual is a must for most people, maybe raise the bottom and add some space under to slide the manual in. I assume the organizer would need to be physically raised/removed to slide it out, but I doubt the manual is looked at that often to be an issue.

Thanks for the feedback. When the glovebox is closed the try sits flat. When it is open it is only slightly tilted forward.

We have both Vehicle OCD center console products out, the center console organizer and the center console tray

I wanted to bump this thread and see if those products steer this idea one direction or the other. Maybe having hands on those products generate some ideas.

OK, so I absolutely LOVE the lower organiser, and just (a few minutes ago) ordered the middle one from Amazon as well when I popped back on the forums and saw it was available. I am interested in glovebox organisation, I LOVE organisation ... but the current design probably won't work for most because they store the quick-ref guide in there (which I am doing now, but don't really need to as the guide is on the uConnect, and I have it on my phone as well.) - so, if you decide to retail it, you'll have one guaranteed sale ... me ... and if not, I'd be happy to take the prototype off your hands

As you can see from response here the demand seems low. Working on the JK center console tray at the moment. Not sure where this is going to go at the moment.

I imagine a glovebox organiser is probably a non-starter given that the space is awkward and pretty small in the first place. My Mini Cooper Convertible had a larger glovebox that was more horizontal and definitely more suitable to compartmentalisation ... but the offer stands, I'll absolutely take the prototype off your hands if you're dumping the concept, it would work for me. If it's just burning up space in your 'better luck next time' pile, PM me with a cost to mail it to Gainesville, Florida and I'll give it a good home
