I'm considering some storage boxes and a shelf in the rear of my JLUR. What are people using and what shelves and boxes are considered the best? Also, what about all this junk in a collision?

I'd appreciate pictures and feedback on what you have.

I bet I can carry pretty close to the same amount of weight as you in tools, recovery and stuff but more out of paranoia than actual need. I‘m too old and soft to be an Overlander or tent camp unless mandatory. Plus we day trip and use an igloo rather than a frig so I would be snubbed right off the bat.

Is keeping the rear seat a priority?
If not Cargo Dog Secuity boxes are my first choice
i have U.S. Cargo Control straps running under these boxes so I can strap more stuff over the top if it was ever needed

Do you need to sleep in the Jeep?
If not Tuffy Secuity rear cargo box bolts to the Jeep floor at 6 points rather than 2

I like Sidio Crates that have clear latching lids and internal dividers
Plus they come in colors for the simple minded
I can keep 4 of these strapped down under the Tuffy security rear cargo box and one has a bracket and us cargo control straps to lash it to the top of the enclosure. My wife used her Crikit to cut labels and I put plexiglass over them because nothing with adhesive lasts long in the heat.

I have the Tuffy Security in floor locking lid and tailgate box

My wife has the Jeep today but I can take pics tomorrow morning, or you can just say bro…just no.

Terry, jumping back a subject, the Vevor fridge worked fine on the Rubicon trail and the dozen or so days I've used it going to the hospital over a few weeks. Around $200 to the door with a 2 or 3 year warranty, seems worth it at this point.

I keep my rear seats up for the heavy shit to be contained if I ever have an accident when I'm loaded up for camping. Above the AAL fridge slider and heavy shit, I have the AAL shelf with a "spider web" bungie net to hold in the soft/light stuff. In the backseat are the soft side duffle bags and soft food bags. It works great for 2 people and everything is pretty secure.

I use a cargo rack in my 2 door with the back seat removed, then the Milwaukee pack out system that keeps everything in place. I also have an AAL slider that I swap out various items depending on what I’m doing. I’ve posted this pic in another thread a few days ago, so please be kind on that point

Where did you get the diamond padding for the sides of the Jeep tub?

In my 2-door, I use the ARS cargo tray, OVS cargo drawer, fridge slide etc. and then a few other portable boxes to organize. I talk a little about it here:
