The Metal Cloak Geometry correction brackets are the best of the bunch. I tried the Ranchos for JL and they would stay tight but the MC have an extra tab that bolts under the trans crash bar.
Thanks for the info for metalcloak brackets imma have to run metalcloak control control just run with stock for now

You dont have to. All the front drop brackets you can run them with OEM arms, or After market arms.
The rear, since DB3 from MC is the only option on the market and they suggest you to run them with after market arms. Even that, any after market arms with clearance band would work.

I had AEV geo correction brackets on my JK and I run the Mopar extended front LCA on my JL.

Mopar JL LCA is a 10 min install and is cheap. AEV brackets are much more work, hang low, and provide only a light benefit to ride.

There is no need to go adjustable LCA, unless you feel the caster provided by the Mopar one is not sufficient - and even if you do think that, if you put more caster you mess up your pinion angle even more. If you want beefier LCA other companies like JKS make fixed length beefy LCA as well.

Having had both, I'd never do brackets again.

Just the JKS LCA will be just fine. Or you can use the Mopar lift kit ones (I think they cost like $60).

Install can be done with the Jeep on the ground no need to lift. Do one side at a time, you will need a good breaker bar or impact to brake those bolts loose as they are tightened to 190 ftlbs.

Good luck.

I have the AEV kit and have wheeled the hell out of it across the country. I've run it with and without the geo correction brackets and with and without adjustable control arms. It rides best with geo brackets and adjustable control arms. They do achieve different things. You don't really need the adjustable arms with the AEV kit but they give you a little bit more control to really dial things in and really, the aftermarket adjustable control arms are just beefier, and have better misalignment. Long story short, get the geo brackets and adjustable arms and be happy with it. I have the AEV brackets and metalcloack adjustable control arms. The AEV brackets are the weak link, they are a bit wimpy really, but so is the JL frame. The AEV brackets will be fine unless you are really hammering it though. And, if you are really hammering it, you need a different setup anyway.

You really don't need rear control arms for a mild lift.
True but the reality is our Jeeps don't ride great as it is so putting them on and getting your arms back as close to level as possible doesn't hurt :)

get yourself lower adjustable control arms. save the correction bracket headache. JKS make really nice parts. I justt moved from there 2.5" lift with lower arms to 3.5" springs and the only thing i did was make an adjustment to the control arms. well worth it for future upgrades. I actually just finished installing the upper control arms last night. Test drove to work today to check clearance on my 37's to see what i want to do for bump stop extensions lower arms are cheap and easy to install
