Gas smell while driving

Hello all, I was driving last night and started to smell a strong gas smell. Pulled over and didn’t see anything. Continued driving and it did go away, but I haven’t drove it since. I got under the Jeep today to take a look. If someone could tell me if this looks normal or not normal than that would be very appreciated.

If you have a leak it will happen parked at idle just as much as if you are driving down the road. I would recommend pulling it outside and letting it idle while you crawl around looking for wet spots or drips from the fuel system. Don't forget to pull the engine cover and look around the intake manifold too.

Looks like you have a very slight oil leak, the gas smell was probably the car in front of you. What engine are you driving?

It’s a 2018, 3.6L

Sounds like someone else was running rich. I don't think your oil leak is much to worry about but you should definitely have it looked at when you have the time.

Alright, I plan on getting the oil changed soon I’ll have the dealer look at it
