Just got a 2021 JLU Willys and weather starting to warm up so time for top and doors to come off. My last Wrangler was a '04 TJ and when the doors came off I had to pull a fuse to keep the dome light from coming on. All I've found online about taking the doors off the JLU is unhooking the wiring from each door. Does that take care of dome light? Or is there a fuse I need to pull as well? Thanks in advance!

We've never pulled a fuse and I've never noticed the dome light on.

Note that the folding lever on the door harness connectors needs to remain in the lowered position when removing and refitting the connector. Only when it's re-seated in the vehicle-side connector should the lever be raised to lock both together.

Nope... the JL/Us are now designed to automatically know that the doors are off once the door harness connectors are unattached.

ONLY flaw I have found is with having the half doors and when I ride no doors front & Half doors on in the rear (my autistic kids need the full half doors on when I drive with them) and I have to take my key fob and unlock the doors for them to open the rear doors as the jeep still automatically locks the doors once you start driving.

The doors are independent of the dome light - try it with the doors on or off: Roll your dash / dome light dimmer switch all the way off (down). I like to call this "spy mode". If you need some light when the doors are off you can just turn the dimmer switch up. Google and find your owners manual pdf (I know they are on the mopar site) and review if you aren't sure what I am talking about.

Like previously mentioned, the system is now designed to sense the doors are removed so some lights and door ajar lights won't trigger.

This is also why it's important to ensure that no pins are bent or broken when plugging/unplugging the doors from the system.

There's a test Jeep out there that uses a new connector that's a cool version of an M29 plug that's much more Jeep Idiot Proof.

Even fancier, the stereo time out can be changed with the doors off. Normally the stereo shuts off when you open the doors, but without doors it doesn't know you left. So you can program the radio to stay on (I think) up to 10 minutes from shutting off the engine.
