Please make sure the led bulbs are facing horizontal-if not you can orientate the bulb in that position.

Also- what style you do have? For example, if you have the S series these are the budget friendly bulbs, and they will not emit the brightest light, as compared to the 4000 premium bulbs.

That is the top of the line bulb replacement we suggest and we have sold numerous kits for JL and JTs. It could be possible the orientation is the concern; it will need to be adjusted to the horizontal position.
