Full Time 4wd

I saw a 2025 Rubicon X today and looking through the glass, it appears to have the extra gear indicator on the gear selector for the 4-Auto setting. Is Jeep back to offering this? Does anyone know which models/trims? This particular one did not have a window sticker. Thanks!

That is awesome, but on the jeep.com build site, it is not listed as an option on any of those trims. So confusing!

I’d like to know for sure because I want to avoid it when ordering my jeep. I’d rather not have wearable clutches to connect my 4wd system.

Their may be some confusion in @2109JLUS response , as it needs validation.
Currently listed there are two different systems using the 4A marking on the knob

• 2.72:1 Selec-Trac® Full-Time 4WD System (Rubicon 392, and all but Rubicon 4Xe models)
• Rock-Trac® Heavy-Duty Full-Time 4x4 System with 4:1 Transfer Case (required when selecting Rubicon X with auto trans., and the Rubicon 4Xe)

while I hope the option of the 2.72:1 Selec-Trac has been revived, I am pretty sure it was eliminated as a way to reduce and simplify options, costs and builds for production.
please correct me if my research is wrong or outdated.

The jeep.com build tool is somewhat buggy and not updated very quickly when changes are made, and by very quickly I mean it can take almost 6 months at times.

Dealers may have additional options that they can go through with your order when you are placing it. When I ordered my 24 Rubicon X, the Rock-Trac 4WD System was an option you had to select. You'll definitely want to review everything with your dealer when setting up the order, but you should be able to option it either way.

Well I know I don’t count in that group. I’m about to be rolling in money! A Nigerian prince has chosen me to bring his gold into the country. I thought it odd that he wanted the transfer fee in gift cards.

Also, I’m a lucky guy because Crystal is really in to me. She’s still dancing at The Landing Strip but times are tough so I’m paying her rent… and I bought her a new car… and I pay her bills… She’s such a good person that she wants to wait until we’re married to have happy fun time.
