I have a 22 Willys. Thoughts on putting a locker on the front and keeping lsd in the rear?

Given the questionable reliability of the factory LSD, I'd do both front and rear lockers.I have a 22 Willys. Thoughts on putting a locker on the front and keeping lsd in the rear?
Keep it unless you are re-gearing. Most people with the rear LSD are fine with it. Mine is still going strong. 0 issues. Remember it is under the 5 year drivetrain warranty so Id leave it alone.I have a 22 Willys. Thoughts on putting a locker on the front and keeping lsd in the rear?
With that Nitro Helix on sale that would be a good option, I may get one and save it for when the factory LSD starts going south.Given the questionable reliability of the factory LSD, I'd do both front and rear lockers.
I HAVE A SPARTAN FRONT LUNCHBOX LOCKER AND REAR LSD AND ITS BEEN FLAWLESS. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. MY COWORKER DID THE SAME BUT WITH TORQ LOCKER AND ITS JUST AS GOOD. YOU WONT REGRET ITI have a 22 Willys. Thoughts on putting a locker on the front and keeping lsd in the rear?

Did you ever get it installed? What are your impressions. I'm definitely getting a front Aussie, and have open diffs f/r right now on a '24 Sport S 4xe. I bought the 4xe not only for the hp ans torque, but they come stock with the Dana M210 and M220, but they also have 3.73's (I wish they had 4.88's so I could run 37's).My thoughts exactly! Going with Nitro Helix rear, Torq Locker front, 4.56. Gathering parts now,
scheduled for January.
Yes, I got all those listed components installed in early 2023. Very happy with the results. The 4.56 gearing is ideal with my 34" tires (285/75-17).Did you ever get it installed? Thanks! Do you have the FSD on the front? I think my 2024 does not, and I believe that was a problem with the FSD. I'm still shooting for an Aussie on the front, but we'll see...Yes, I got all those listed components installed in early 2023. Very happy with the results. However, I've made one change to the original setup.I swapped out the front Torq Locker for an ARB air locker...
The unintended consequence of running a front unit such as the Torque Locker, is that without unlocking hubs (as all Wranglers are), the TL causes the front drive shaft to spin 100% of the time. With the JL's front geometry, combined with my lift, the setup created a slight vibration at speed.
I wasn't comfortable with it, so the ARB was my solution.
