It’s the only plug on the front differential, it’s the fad ,or actuator

Well I did my lift by myself in my driveway it turned out great, except when I lowered the axel to replace coil springs to larger ones, I forgot to unplug the plug however it didn’t break all the way it still worked for about 3 months, my front diff suddenly stopped engaging , I guessed that was the problem, I joined the forum and saw the threads about the lockers on the rubicon called my jeep dealer got a new one not the same part number but the same kind of plug I spliced it in and my service 4 wheel system went away and I went wheeling and it is now fine,

Fixed! The part number and package of parts worked great. The only thing I had to do is go with a little smaller heat shrink tubing. I think it will be a rock solid fix with soldered connections.

1) Why are there 8 wires in the kit but just one 4 pin plug?
2) What are the orange pieces for?
3) What are the metal clips at bottom left for?
4) Do the pins just push in from the back?

Built connector and ready for install:

5) I don't see the 90 degree part at the top of the connector in the first photo. Was this re-used from the old connector?

I was able to simply go to the dealership and have them order it through the Mopar “Connectors” website using the 805-122-581 (front locker) part number.
The rear locker part number will be 805-122-582 and should be on the site as well. The connectors are keyed different for those wondering.
6) When I look up the part it seems they call for the same one for both front and rear - does that make sense?
