I bent the CA's but not the balljoints. That's a pretty serious smack no doubt but I bent my lower exactly same. I have a Rubicon and the D210 seems fine. I'll have to find some pics of my lower taco'd arm it was pretty bad maybe even worse than this one.

Thats what my lower CA looked like but I'm not experiencing the issues you have. I swapped out to rock jock/johnny joint control arms all around but yeah crazy. Taco'd my drive side control arm just like that but haven't had any issues like vibration etc since.

I see you had aftermarket uppers though.. that's interesting. Both my stock upper and lowers bent.

You had some aftermarket upper CA's? Looks like metalcloak uppers.
Yes, I have a Metalcloak 2.5" lift installed. Now I have Rubicon Express LCA's, Terraflex ball joints, and a drivers side Mopar steel knuckle. The passenger side knuckle is on a crazy long back order.
Already into this for about $2k. It was a very expensive mistake considering I had to buy a used car to get my ass to work with the Jeep is broken.

Do you need factory control arms? I can dig them out of my scrap bin at my shop I just tossed a full set of rubicon upper and lowers brand new and the tie rod off a sport.

Thanks for the offer, but Ive already replaced the LCAs with aftermarket. It’s starting to sound like I may need a full axle replacement. Hit me up if one comes your way.

Cast iron knuckles?

Here's a picture of my stock D44 rear axle with a straight bar clamped in the differential bearing saddles being pre-inspected before gears. It was tweaked and it had never took a notable hit and was on stock tires. Only trailed twice. Both times were gentle drives.

That was probably tweaked when it was cinched down on the transport truck when new.

How did you get the axle straightened? Are there shops that will do that? Mine would be the front with the FAD, so that may be an issue.
Many axle shops will have the tooling to straighten axles and tubes. This is a common practice in the racing industry.

However, the deflection allowance is usually very small. Somewhere around 1/4" or less. Any more deflection that this and the tube will need replaced.

The easiest way to do this is to super heat the high side of the tube and then cool it immediately. This will shrink the high side of the tube and straighten it out.

The FAD and brackets complicate everything. Normally, the tube would need most of that cut out. The FAD side of the axle likely couldn't be straightened. The rear axle wouldn't be an issue.

Check out Jeep_partsupplier on Instagram. I see stock axles for sale every week.

Its a nationwide part-out conglomerate.

I am a total noob to Instagram. How do you contact the seller? How do you know where the parts are located?

If I take out the drivers side front axle shaft, can I drive around in 2WD like that? Worried that diff oil might come spewing out through the axle shaft seal.
