2022 JLUR with several "poor man mods" (i.e. homemade). I am aiming for a low key, inconspicuous but capable ride. (Low key to avoid attracting unwanted attention from the Skels while traveling in 3rd world areas such as downtown Seattle or Portland.)

This is my first trial fit of the home made bumper/winch combo. The 12000 Warn Zeon is mounted on an ArTek mount, directly to the frame. I then made these bumper-etts to hide things a bit, have decent coverage so it doesn't look too off-roady, and go for a slightly retro look with the squared bumper.
It's my third or fourth iteration of my efforts, but I'm getting close.

Next is to fabricate the winch cover with a fold up license plate cover. My plan is to eventually paint everything body color to better blend.

Feedback of any sort appreciated.

Thanks - old thread that I forgot about.
Still haven't had the time to build the fairlead cover, but the bumper and winch are working great. I should take a new series of photos to show the updates. I'll work on it.

A "Skel" is an old cop term (mostly east coast) for a petty crook - someone more likely to steal the change out of your cup holder than steal your entire car. Not necessarily a true "Bad Guy", but more of a thief of opportunity. Pull up some Hill Street Blues or NYPD Blue for live use of the term.
