I've been getting a noise from the driver side and I've narrowed it down to the freedom panel. When hearing the noise, I can grab onto the freedom panel and it quiets down. I went down to wipe the seals along the freedom panel thinking maybe some dust/debris was not letting the driver side freedom panel sit flush and I noticed a difference between the two sides of freedom panel seal. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this or if it's unique to my JL. Also, is there anything I can do to straighten that section out or should I just take it to the dealer for them to fix?

Anyone with a picture of their driver's freedom panel seal near the windshield/door jam? Just trying to determine if I could fix this myself or just take it to the dealer

Thanks for the picture. I figured that was the case but just wanted to verify. Any tips/ideas how to get it back inline with the seal or should I just bring it by the Service Dept.? I just hate waiting for an appointment if it's something simple

I don't know. There is a pretty good crease in it. Maybe you could use a blowdryer or something to heat it up a bit and try to pull it back out to its normal shape?

If you do end up going into the dealer, let us know. We're available via direct message and would be happy to help coordinate a visit.
