I have noticed a rattle as well and I know it’s the panels. When I take them off the rattle goes away. All the brackets and patches are tight but I can’t seem to figure where it’s coming from or how to address. They are seated correctly from what I can tell. No water leaking in or anything. I have taken off and on a few times and the rattle is still there. Any other ideas?

Hi jeepis,
We certainly understand why this may be frustrating. Are you considering having your dealer take a look? If you choose to go this route, feel free to send us a PM. We would be happy to connect you with a Case Specialist to assist.

I have had the same issue since the car was brand new. In my case, most of the noise came from the corners where you can find the foam blocks. so I think the noise is rubbing noise when driving on different road conditions, if you put your hands in the gap between the freedom panel, you can feel the movement . so what I did was, I bought foam sealing tape from the local hardware store, and cut it size, and attached to all corners, it helped to cancel the noise for few weeks before it came back because the foam was compressed. I am going to local dealers, hopefully, they stock the OEM foam blocks.

i will third the hard top bolts not being properly tightened. i installed a jtop sunshade and noticed a clicking/popping noise when going in/out of my driveway. i thought that the clips for the sunshade were impeding the freedom panels from seating properly. tinkered around for a bit, turned out that one of the hard top bolts was just a hair loose.
