Found something under passenger seat

So I dropped some change under my passenger seat today. There was nothing on the carpet so I lifted it up to look under neath it and found this. Any idea what it is or what its function is? It was not attached to anything, just loose under the carpet.

Those are used during the manufacturing process of the wire harness to hold them together for shipping, Must have been a Friday Evening when they built yours.

Looks like it is used to hold the wiring harness (per Greg above and a better than my originals “fasteners”) for the production line - past that, it has no function

Carpet is so clean

I have seldom had rear seat passengers and until this install there was a rubber floor liner in place. Nothings ever been on the carpet.
