2021 Unlimited: I found this black plastic retain under my front passenger seat. I assume it is a wiring harness retainer. I looked under the seat but I did not see where it goes. It does not appear to be broken, so I think it just came loose.

Anyone recongize this part or know where/how it attaches? The dimensions are approxmately 1" x 1.25" x 1.75".

It attaches to the end of the seat frame... It pushes on. That one fell off apparently.
Thank you. That was very helpful. Seat rail end cap is now back in place. :)

Unbelievable. I found the same piece in the same place. The dealer had no idea what it was and told me it must be something extra left by an assembler.

thank you for the solution!

Some dealers are good at taking the easy way out. All they had to do was ask Rhinebeck01.

Just gotta say I'm super happy I found this niche thread. Months ago I found that piece while installing my Bartact seat covers and was puzzled. There's *a lot* of pulling and sweat involved in that process, so my most immediate worry was I somehow broke part of my heated seats.

Anyway, my heated seats still worked, so I put the piece in my closet and thought "I'll figure that out one day". Stumbled across this thread...finally fixed it today!

I'lll add a picture of where it goes just for completeness for anyone else.
