Good day!

Do any of you know how to disable automated notifications from this forum? I keep getting notices that my password is no longer unique. I don’t care, as I don’t store national secrets, access banking information, or do anything else that matters on this website, so I don’t need to change my password — and I don’t need the forum to notify me daily or weekly that I can change my password.

Did you uncheck all the applicable options under “Preferences”?

There is no box that says, “Discontinue unsolicited warnings about meaningless account security”, so every time I log on I get this:

What the hell does "isn't unique" in this context mean? Someone else on the site now has the same password as you and that's apparently horrendous?

Did you change it the first time you got the notification and still just repeatedly get the notification? Just curious. If not just change it to pinksprinkledonuts like in your avatar. Then you’ll have a visual reminder. Just trying to help another old forgetful dude out.
