Hoping to get a JLL
Could someone give me a beginners explaination of the settings and when to use them. Questions as follows:

1). Seems like settings are 2H, 4H auto 4H part time, N, and 4L. In some photos I see just a 4H settings and in some the 4H auto and 4H partime. What is the difference and what does the rubicon have?

2). when you shift through the settings can you be moving in gear, moving in neutral, or stopped in neutral?

3). What settings would you use for a variety of road conditions such as dry, wet, wet with standing water, icy, snow, deep snow, gravel, sand, mud ruts, and rock climbing?

4). The rubicon picture shows a switch for the front and rear or just rear. What does this do and when do you use both.

5) The rubicon comes with a roc track system. What is this and how does it differ from other models.

Sorry for all the questions and thanks!!!!

I suggest you read the owner's manual. It will answer all your questions.

The owner's manual download is available in the sticky section.

The selec-trac transfer case with 4H Auto is only available as on option on the Sahara. The 4H Auto is similar to an AWD system that will transfer power to front wheels automatically when needed.
