Rear is still good but the jury is still out on that one.. Need more miles on it.
Maybe I should leave mine there and drive yours a couple months. It would hit the 20k miles on the axle in about that time

LOL I think I’ll just put some more than normal stress on the axle. Sounds more fun haha drove 10+ miles of beach this morning super soft sugar sand nearly entire way. Took forever. I’m doing that like twice a week haha but always welcome to leave me with a Rubi on 37’s hahaha

I wouldn't want to bankrupt you at the fuel station... 80 gallons of gas for my last trip to Memphis

Nevermind the time it says or the route (it only maps roads we would be on the beach front.)

That strip of beach will take approx 1hr to commute (I did it today).

This is what I’m thinking for our beach run.

Mid size parking lot at the end should we choose to use it. Or we could just hang on the beach.

Has anyone been up to the Cary State Forest trails?

Wondering if it’s worth the 50min drive from WGV.

I want to get my sons outta the house today and get off road a bit..
Haven't had the chance to see this park yet ...Its probably is not too different as most north Fla. pine lands but I usually walk thru unless its a really light trail . I go to North Fla once in a blue moon and theres lots natural parks, mostly, starting from central Fla on up North and further West Love the natural springs too. They got people muddin down here in south Fla also near the border of the everglades but nothing as pretty as the stuff u get further North. Do it! have fun!

I should be able to go.
10-4 nothing crazy about a 10 mile beach run, hang for awhile, then go eat. Jeeps & Java sorta thing.

Maybe we could convince @Roky to bring his flex stands who knows..

So I’ve had a chance to do some driving since I got it back last Thursday both on road (Interstate & Local) and off road (4H- Beach).

Id say it’s been about 200 miles if that.

Noticeable difference for sure. Noticeable steering responsiveness (probably due to the reduction of the dead space). No more wandering no more constant course corrections as a result. No more white knuckles in windy conditions.

I have got it up pretty fast speed wise, more than I care to publicly admit and it handled very well.

I am now able to drive at interstate speeds on (I-95) with just two fingers. Not that I normally drive that way but I was able to for a substantial period of time 15+ miles for the purpose of testing.

Very very slight dead spot remains in the steering wheel (sub .25” which I believe to be normal or at par with most trucks that I’ve driven (both new & used)) but again much reduced and nothing that would constitute a delayed steering input response.

Overall I am happy.

My setup is as follows:

Suspension: Rubicon takeoff + .5” Teraflex hockey pucks. (Yields 2” over stock sport, sport s and Sahara if you’re wondering)

Tires: 33” deflated to 32-34 psi

So, if you’re on the edge, go do it.

@Mark Elliott

**Note: Other recalls I had done that may have collectively contributed to what I believe to be a success was I had the steering stabilizer and trackbar recalls preformed as they came out.
