Hello everyone!
My husband and I just bought our first car, a used 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, and I am absolutely in love with it. I am a total newbie when it comes to cars in general, but I would love to have this Jeep forever basically and so I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions of where to start reading up on how to stay up-to-date with maintenance, how to make sure it's 'doing well', etc. (Besides reading the owner's manual and taking it to the mechanic) - Hope that question makes sense... Thank you in advance!

@Jeepiter

Yes, do read the Owner's Manual.

You and your husband might consider keeping a pdf copy of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler Owner's Manual on your smart phones so you have when needed..

The pdf manual on your smart phone will be handy at all times and easy to read at night, etc..

For free .... download the Owner's Manual here:

Enjoy your Jeep!

Can't tell you..shhh
Don’t get overwhelmed or worried by all of the posts you read here. Some come here to vent about issues and others are hard core Jeepers who essentially re engineer and rebuild their vehicles.
^^^This 1000 times over. Reading some of the posts here you're going to think you're driving a ticking time bomb. You will read about a lot of problems but when you look at the number of issues vs the number of Jeeps sold you'll realize that overall things aren't as bad as they may seem.

Next, in addition to the plethora of warnings about calling it a car, make sure you wave at other Jeepers and never, never ever ever, get an angry bird grill . Just kidding about the grill, your Jeep your mod. Welcome to the community and enjoy the hell out of your new Jeep.

OMG, that's embarrassing.. It will never happen again, promise. ?
The only picture I have right now is when I was in the Jeep at the dealership with a big smile on my face (we are hopefully picking it up today) - so will post it then!

Very grateful to have found this community here!

As a newcomer you will quickly learn the “native” customs eliminating further embarrassment. ?

Welcome to the forum. That's a fine looking Wrangler. ?

As suggested, online discussion forums can sometimes magnify the negative aspects of the ownership experience. Best just to use the Search feature to review existing chat on a particular matter, and/or join in the conversation with your own questions and concerns. The owner community here is, by and large, friendly and knowledgeable.

Your comment in your first post, mentioning your plan to actually read the Owner's Manual, puts you well ahead in line of even a fair number of folks on this site. Keep going!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

Beautiful Jeep, BTW. Green is Jeep’s natural color.

PS - I am known around here as partial towards Saharas...and Willys....and HEMIs...

Owners Manual??? Who would have thought!
Owners Manual?— Only as a last resort after trying stupid stuff, screwing things up, asking on this forum, trying recommended stupid stuff, screwing more things up, then cave and read the manual. Follow The Proper Procedure!
