My Mopar site says Recall V41 Completed. Is this the same thing?
Yes it is the same thing I had mine done today but it did not solve the problem in fact it made it worse. I also have a slight vibration in my steering wheel now at all speeds I should have never done V41

So yours did not come out well. I wonder if there is anyone else who has had problems? I am due to get mine Sept 5th. I really have not had many problems, I do notice occasionally when I hit a bad spot in the road, I get a little shimmy, but not a full out of control wobble. Any advice??? anyone??

Not sure because this is the 4th stabilizer they're using. Previous 3 weren't doing the job and they think the 4th will. I think it's time for jeep to realize the tie rod, drag link and track bar (track bar i believe is now in recall) were made of shit and need to beef them up. FCA should contact steersmart and start having SS provide all the parts for replacements under a recall. Consumers aren't buying the B.S. of the stabilizer as it's only a band aid to cover up cost cutting production parts.

little shimmy isn't much an issue. You can buy a teraflex stabilizer and it'll do the best job a stabilizer can do but my recommendation is to upgrade steering parts with synergy or steersmart as their products have been proven to improve wranglers steering.

Mine, 2019 Sport 2 door built Nov 2018, drives very well as is...have yet to feel any shimmy whatsoever. As far as wander, well...it feels like it tracks as straight as anything else. Requires a bit more attention than my Rams, but I think that's to be expected, given a 40" difference in wheelbase.

If it ain't broke, don't break it. I never experienced the wobble or problems with the factory stabilizer, but about a week ago, I replaced it with the Fox 2.0 ATS stabilizer and the ride feels better. When you get the work done, ask for the original damper...keep it as a spare part. If you have complications with the replacement, swap it out for the original. It's a 15-minute DIY job.

I received notice for the replacement, but I won't have this recall done...I'm ok with spending $350 for a quality aftermarket stabilizer as opposed to having this done at the cost of inconvenience.

I like your occupation. How was the interview process? That's the job I'm still trying to be good at.....

There was no experience necessary... it was a one-question exam and I already knew the answer.

My theory is if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I took mine into the dealership for an oil change and they said there was a recall so I said fix it. I regret the decision because it didn’t fix anything.

I doubt anything would change. Both companies make most of their cars in the US anyway, and Jeep is currently entirely owned by an Italian company, so there's that, I suppose. Chrysler is also pretty legendary in their internal CAD and car design tools so I doubt they'd give any of that up easily. Most of the parts are made (and assembled!) by third party contractors anyway, so the only thing I really could see changing is the management of the assembly plants? Maybe the engines themselves?

The transmissions probably wouldn't even change. Practically every RWD/longitudinal AWD vehicle uses the ZF 8 speed. Everything from Alfa Romeos to Rolls Royces has it.

Personally I wish GM would have bought it .I believe the Jeep would be more reliable then it is today don't get me wrong I enjoy my Jeep but I am constantly going to the Dealer for a recall ,TSB or coolant leaks. Now GM is working on getting into the Jeep category I believe their looking back kicking themselves and they should !
