Fake rubicons

I would have been the ultimate poser if I bought the Rubicon. First thing I would have done is to powdercoat the wheels black, change the dashboard color from red, blackout the grill, and remove the Rubicon logo from the hood, so as to masquerade as a Willys.

Actually, the reason I ordered a Willys is mostly cosmetic due to the list above...I love the Rubicon capability but am not a fan of some of the appearance options.

If you're going to disguise your vehicle as a different model, it's way more fun to pretend it's a lesser one. Like removing 5.0 badges from a Mustang GT or Hellcat/Demon badges from a Challenger. Surprise!

To put it bluntly, who cares? I see women at the gym all the time who are trying to pass off “after-market mods” for OEM equipment. Anyone who is the know knows what is fake and what is real ….

Yep— put 283 badges on my L79 Nova much to the embarrassment of some losers who thought it was a joke race!

Almost looks like a fake Xtreme Recon package. Now I'm pissed. I'm paying good money for my XR package. You shouldn't be able to copy. Keep your dam small stock tires and stuff on!!
