Reminds me of the Mattel Vrroom bike “motors” we put on our bikes as little kids They were plastic but made “real motorcycle sounds”.

Fake V8 sounds are corny, but at least it's for their private enjoyment lol. It's about as interesting as some Mustang owners that put all types of exhausts on them to make them "look" and "sound" like the V8

Mind you, I think Hyundai did a good job with it for the Ionic 5 N...still sounds a bit video gamey though lol

A couple years ago there was a hood rat driving through my neighborhood with the radio blasting. As he got closer to me he turned the radio off and cranked up some fake turbo sounds.
