Factory rock rail stuck

Recently I took the side steps off my jlu and put the factory rock rails back on while I was going off road. Now I’m putting the the steps back on but the rail on the passenger side seems to be stuck on. It wiggles but won’t pull out. All the nuts and bolts have been removed. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they did to solve the problem.

Inspect the rail mounts and determine where the mount is wedged.
Once you have determined this; you can apply a little pressure in that location so the rails can be freed up.

If there's no more nuts on the studs through the pinch seam and there's no more bolts into the bottom of the tub, it's just a matter of yoinking it out of there

So, pull harder

I mean, they saved my rockers and pinch seams once lol. That said, it’ll take some work to remove them if I ever want to!
