The LED package was the best $800 option I ever got. Definitely get it. Don't know if it effects all lighting (noticed that even the vanity mirror lights are LED) or just the headlights and taillights, but if it is just that, still worth.

The visibility that the LED headlights provide is incredible and I agree with what I've read. These are the best headlights I've had on any vehicle. Throw in the Tazer JL lightshow and they are even better!

All the negative about the safety group. Most of the comments do not know what it really is. Sure it has blind spot, but the cross traffic, including people (AND KIDS IS GREAT) . If a child is running across the back of your jeep as you back up, it will alert you even though you can't see them. If you are about to back into a tree or bicycle, it will alert you. It even tell you where the danger is coming from. Left right or straight back. And it has a really long/wide field of detection.
So when you criticizes a safety feature, you first ought to know what it does. I do not know if any of you have kids or if you driving consists of just rock crawling. But if you have kids or drive your jeep as a daily driver the Safety feature option is well worth it. P.S. SO ARE THE LEDs

I'm not sure where you're seeing this negativity, its just that most of us are pointing out that you don't have to have it to get the LED package.

I don't know how anyone who has tried led lights could ever not want them, the visibility is so much better. My wife's 2017 mini clubman has them and after driving that at night, leds were a requirement on any new vehicle I bought. They actually are even better than the jl lights, but the jl lights are also outstanding.

Think about how much you'll save by not having to put 5 light bars on your jeep! But then what do you do with all of those aux switches?

Ummm, some of us don't want, need, or like all that extra unnecessary junk no matter how useful others find it.

I have three kids and have never run over them or anyone else without the aid of those systems.

I wasn't sold on the upgrade but it ended up in the jeep I bought off the lot. I have to admit, these lights are much much better than the halogen. I'm sold on them.

Sorry if i implied they are required. Only trying to explain some of the functions. I am full aware of the disadvantages and the reasons for NOT wanting the safety package. It is not for everyone! The older a person gets the more assistance they like. In my case there is DIRT younger then me. With that said Jeeps wranglers are not only for the young, but also the young at heart. Perhaps I should start a forum for "OLD farts with Wranglers"

Lol... I'm no spring chicken at 43 but there is still some dirt that has been around longer.

This will be my fourth Jeep and I have never been more excited about a vehicle purchase, except for the bike.

I didn't want the LED group on my rubicon but it was on the only one close to what I wanted. I LOVE them! So happy I didn't keep searching. WELL worth the extra money! Didn't get the safety group. Just leds group, Alpine infotainment, wheels
