Good Day,
I have been a long-time time jeep owner and enthusiast. My first jeep was a 74 Cj5 with a 304 V8, my current is a 2014 Wrangler ARB lockers. I may offend some on this forum, with this comment, but here it is. I don't understand the infatuation with "Factor 55" The "Factor 55" team has done a fantastic job advertising, very clever with "closed loop" and all. But, I laugh out loud with a see a hook selling for 250 dollars. I know all about vehicle recovery, straps and winches. I have owned and used hydraulic, electric, PTO, - worm gear, spur gear, even some DIY winches. A simple hook costing around 15 dollars works great and is indestructible. If it makes you feel any better, you could paint it red or blue, even carefully stencil FACTOR 55 on it.
