I’m looking for an economical high-clearance exhaust made of 304 stainless that isn’t super loud.

I‘ll be grateful for any wisdom you folks can share.

For me, this isn’t about false claims of increased “power”. It’s about clearance, durability, compatibility with the belly pan, and a tolerable sound without drone. I want to install the new exhaust before the Arctec belly pan arrives.

If you have pricing information please don’t discuss it here, as it may result in the mods banishing the thread to the back-40 where it will never be seen again. Please PM details that can’t be discussed here.

There are threads about this in the "... engine and exhaust" forum. Engine makes a difference. You will get a better response in the other forum. Just my opinion.

Thanks, for the replies. I found the solution, for me. Much easier to just go to a custom exhaust place and have one built. Two door or four door, doesn't matter -- and they can fit a bunch of different cans so you can hear the difference on your own Jeep as you stand there. Mine came out perfect, took less than two hours to get done, and it's welded, which feels safer, particularly since I'll be installing a belly pan which might help trap any leaking exhaust gasses. In the end you can end up with whatever size Borla, Flow, Flowmaster -- or whatever -- you want to install, and the out the door price is about the same. My "out the door" price was $400.
