Have you driven a 2024, all you smart asses with your fancy animated Gifs? There is awesomeness 2021-23, and then there is stupid resonance 2024-, I need this solved, dont mock my boominess.
I had a 2023 392 and I now have a 2024 392 and I don't have any complaints about the exhaust sound. Doesn't bother me in either performance mode or not or in 4-cylinder mode or not. I can hear 4-cylinder mode kick in (could on the 2023 also), but it isn't that bad to me and I've not had any passengers complain about the exhaust sounds. Haven't really noticed any real difference in the sound except that the 2023 might have been a little louder. But, we all have our preferences. Hope you get it how you want it.

I deserved that... :)

Ok so I only find it on the 2024, and its a strong resonance when decelerating and hitting 2000rpm, so only in the lowish rev range not above 3000rpm. I know the 2024 has dual pane glass in the front windows, and wondering if this causes it.

Will try the ANC trick, although I have read elsewhere in the forums that it doesn't do anything.
Also going to try the Magnaflow street exhaust., will give feedback on this issue as I know others have experienced this as well.
It's 4-cylinder mode, 99% sure. Try manual shift and see if the sound goes away. Alternately, watch the fuel efficiency dash menu and see if 4-cyl pops up under the half circle icon when you hear the sound.

Had a rear passenger tell me there was something wrong with my 2023. I tried to explain to him about the four cylinders mode, but he was a Ford guy that wanted to find something wrong with my 2023. I now have a new 2024 with 250 miles on it that no passengers have ridden in. I would love to figure out how to disconnect the four cylinders mode

I have a 2024 392, and I enjoy the sound of the exhaust.

I didn't realize the 'boominess' was an issue (at least to me,) and I felt that it was part of the character.

There is definitely a significant drone when you allow the RPM’s to drop down to around 2,000. Have been wondering myself if the Magnaflow Street Series with anti-drone technology would fix this issue. Too bad stock exhaust sounds great accelerating but horrible cruising at lower rpm’s or decelerating.

this seems to be more noticable when you are sitting in the rear seats

It' just drone. I'm always driving in manual mode for two reasons:
1.) To disable MDS
2.) To manually shift up to eliminate the drone in certain RPM ranges.

Next week I get AWEs Switchpath Exhaust system installed. I'll report back on the change.

Just get a NoLimitz JL - MDS, speed limiters, on-off. Simple PNP behind the HVAC and glove box on the old dash, more difficult but still not too bad on the new one. Under $300. Mine was turned on and left on.

No noticeable drone with AWE, I missed not having a true “quiet” mode at first, but I now find the AWE “quiet” , at a good 1/2 way to stock “loud” a good sounding level without being a cop magnet. I picked one up in one block the last time I pushed loud, he followed me for a few minutes through a couple turns - confirmed IMO.

the first time it was cold start fired up on “loud” inside the shop I got a “Squeeze in my BVD’s” 😃
