If you have a hard top, headliners and sound isolation strips might help.

If you have a soft top, then getting a hard top might help. There's not much you can do to make a soft top any quieter.

RK911's suggestion of just getting a bluetooth headset is also a good option, and probably cheaper than anything else you can do.

Thanks , it is a hardtop, headphones wouldn’t work as the mike would pickup the noise just as hands free does. I spoke with another Jeep owner, has same Jeep but his is quite

I get alot of wind noise at highway speeds as well. '24 Sahara with a hard top. This summer I plan to line the hardtop with Dynamat and put in a Coverking Topliner. If that doesn't make a big difference, I'll add a full Boom Mat headliner package over the Topliner. I am hoping with all of that installed it will cut down the wind noise by at least about 4 or 5 db.

A closed-up hardtop shouldn't be horribly loud. Is the noise coming from a specific area? Has it always been that loud?
Bought it new, always been loud, thought maybe it was a jeep thing but apparently not. My niece has one and very quiet inside cabin.

It probably has something to do with the top or door fitment.
I have a 2-door soft top and its not to loud at 80 mph.

You probably have a panel not seated properly, a leak or gap in a seal, wind noise intrusion, or some other configuration issue. My hardtop is fine for Bluetooth calls @ highway speeds.

My Willys with the M/T’s with about half tread is pretty loud at highway speeds. I don’t bother trying to use my phone.
The wife’s willys with almost full tread on her M/T’s is no where near as loud as mine.

Yeah you will have to source where all the noise is coming from. For calls in and out we use the BT audio playing on the JL speakers all the time driving on the highway with no issues. Phone is always plugged into the armrest USB for AA maps phone music etc. No one complains about not hearing or it is excessively loud.

This is for 4 door with base hardtop closed rear windows cracked open for ventilation. Even with the driver freedom top off have made and heard calls ok. Not perfect obviously but no complaints either. Just need to speak up.

If you have had your Freedom panels off make sure they are seated correctly.

our diesel on Muds is plenty quiet enough at speed for civil phone calls, even with the RTT and rack and lights at the A-pillar.

as others have suggested, check to make sure everything is in place properly. be sure to check the seal around the windshield; we've seen reports about those not being situated properly and causing a good bit of noise.

then if necessary, add a proper headliner with noise damping material. i used the Hotheads headliner and put the Sound Assassin strips in about a week before the actual headliner, and it was remarkable how much just those by themselves helped.
