Everyone hates me......

Second day I bought my Jeep this woman in a wrangler was staring me down. My Jeep was brand new and I yanked the windows out so I knew I stood out. Everyone around here keeps their tops on their Jeeps. So I gave her the obligatory Jeep wave and she just kept squinting at me. She had the sun in her eyes so I didn’t take it personally.

I did the wave two more times just because they were staring hard at me and nobody waved back. That’s when I realized the Jeep wave isn’t a “thing” here. There’s so many wranglers driving around here nobody cares. I drive out for 5 minutes and I pass 5 of them. I’m usually cruising around Los Angeles and Orange County.

there are a fair amount of wrangler in my area. one about a 1/2 ( in my community ) of them will wave because they are jeepers. the other half ( commuting to work ) are either clueless,, @$$holes, or dope heads. i did get a middle finger when i waved to a jeep coming home from work. man what a lovely $hithole town i work in.

I noticed men waving back at me , a woman in a firecracker red wrangler. Other women? Forget it..they wont even make eye contact.

I find that to be true, too. Women rarely wave or make eye contact.

I live in Northern Illinois and nobody "Jeep Waves" around here. Most are driving JLU's and I don't think they "get it".

I'm in rural Iowa a lot for work this time of year, and those folks are really friendly, they "Jeep Wave" a lot.

Maybe I should move to Iowa.

Wow, that sucks.

Honestly, I’m fine with people not waving, but getting the bird is harsh.

In my area, the teenagers wave. It’s the soccer moms that never wave.

most of the old farts wave.

all in all it’s only about 40-50%.

was up in rural Michigan this weekend, almost 90% Jeep wave. It was fun.

This pretty much. In KY everyone waves. In CA if the Jeep is bone stock usually a soccer mom that just thought the Jeep looked cool and is oblivious to the “Jeep thing”.
