ESC/Auto start stop

my 2020 jeep on friday stated service ESC and the auto start/stop stopped working. steering wheel was stiff could not turn it. however the jeep turns on/off just fine. anyone else had this issue? heard it could be the auxiliary battery and some lose fuses, checked the fuses and still nothing. any recommendations?

ESC is electric stability control. I don't believe that ESS (start/stop) will operate with a code on.

The ESC system will error out even with the alignment off, but I'd guess your steering issue is the root cause.

Have you pulled codes?

You'll need to get the codes pulled to see what's going on. Ignore the stop/start light for now, just about any issue will cause it to appear.

sounds like your steering wheel isnt straight has to be less than 3degrees from zero of it will set off the light

Try turning your steering wheel lock to lock. If that results in your steering wheel being off centered then go down the path of fixing that.
