Auto-stop esc lights coming on

When test driving my 2018 JL the salesman told me the lights (auto stop and esc) on the dash were just telling me the auto stop was turned off!. .not true.. Took it to service and they replaced the vacuum pump, no change.. now service doesn't want to mess with it.. sales will not get me another car and im stuck fixing it myself until the legal situation is cleared up.Any ideas?.. seems to be loss of voltage at vacuum pump after heating up. is there a circuit breaker in the system?

Do you have any sort of lift or bigger tires on it? If you do, you may need to get the computer reflashed with a FlashCal or by the dealer so it reads correctly.

If that isn't the case, start documenting when you take it to the dealer, and if that dealer is refusing to deal with it, see if there is another in your area that will look at it. Take notes of everything.

Assuming you're not a troll contact @JeepCares. What you are describing is pure BS in terms of the dealer not dealing with a legit issue.

no big tires.. I think they are just stumped and don't have an answer.. I need to research this. I notice it happens when stopped,with car warmed up.

Hey guys! Just wanted to provide my resolution that I got on this same issue! I had both of the lights(auto/start/stop & ESC)

I had the vacuum pump replaced 2-3 times as the codes kept indicating inadequate vacuum. The final fix was replacing the hoses. There is a check valve in the hoses that was sticking, thus burning up the vacuum pumps! If you having this issue, stress the less expense option of replacing the hoses! Hope this helps someone!

PS - This is the ONLY issue I have had with my JLUS! Outstanding ride!
