Any update on the status of the 3.6 BSG? Wondering if it will show up in the Nov banks. Inquired today and was told neither 24G (3.6 Penta) or 25G (3.6 BSG) were available to order. Only the 2.0.

I have been asked this question a lot on these forums. I hope this answers everyone's questions.

Currently producing:
2.0 ESS
2.0 BSG
3.6 ESS W/Manual option
2.2 DIESEL (Europe only)

2019 Options
2.0 ESS
2.0 BSG
3.6 ESS W/Manual option
3.6 BSG
2.2 DIESEL (Europe only)
3.0 Turbo DIESEL
HYBRID (Not sure engine specs)

Rumor is FCA Is working on a new straight 6 , .not sure if it's true or if it would be for the Jeep.

Also I have seen a lot of people wonder why there isn't a HEMI for the Jeep.
I'm not a engineer but this is my best guess why. Jeep is a body on frame. So picture the body being built separate from the frame. Then they come together. It's hard to describe but the body is lowered right on top of the frame with the engine and transmission already installed. It's actually really frickin awesome watching this process. There is just centimeters of clearance all the way around. Long story short, I don't think it would fit doing it this way.
Thank you for all of the updates! Really appreciated.

I appreciate all your awesome updates! Have you learned anything more you can share with us about the timing of the 3L Diesel?

"Daddy, so let me get this right. Once upon a time you poured liquid into a vehicle to not only get it to run, but you had to drive it yourself? What was that--like 'watering a plant?' How crazy dangerous was it to not only let humans drive, but unlike today's computers which communicate in real time with other vehicle's computers regarding driving intention, having to guess what other driver's, bad ones at that, might do.";)

What about the new 4.0L I-6 with forced induction that was rumored to replace the Hemi 5.7L engine in many trucks over the next development cycle? Is that still in the works?

Still in development as far as I know. but I heard it was somewhere near 3.3-3.6 liters in displacement and we'll still have HEMI engines too.
