I have the 1/2-cubby since mine came with the AUX switches. I keep a CarPlay wireless dongle in there, and changed the OEM 1/2-cubby out for this one, which has an RJ45 connector to plug in the Midland MX275 microphone.

I wanted to put the head of my 2m/440 amateur radio in there but that opening is just a tad too small. Right now t'aint nuthin in that otherwise useless space. Hoping to see some good ideas.

That's too bad. it would be a decent space for a head unit.

My hubby feels the same way....he knows that he ranks behind the dog, my Jeep, my yoga mat and cheese. He's happy to get a credit anywhere he can. ;-)
