Just performed the Rancho 2.5" lift install on my JLURD. Part of the install was re-routing the e-brake using the included bracket and disconnecting it from the hubs and axles. When I went to reconnect it the driver side went on fine but the passenger side is now too short by about a 1/4". I cannot get it to reconnect at all. I've used vice grips, disconnecting the cable from the new bracket, disconnecting the track bar and having someone push from the side of the jeep. Do I need to just open up the center console and let some slack out? I'm afraid the drive side will be too loose if I do. Any ideas?

I don't think rerouting the cables would have made them shorter. Maybe the cable underneath the console may not be fully seated in the bracket.

Did you figure it out? Mine was a tad tighter after the relocation as well and I could only get one hooked at a time. I found a video showing how to lift just the back end of the center console up, which is where the adjustment is located, and then used a 10mm deep socket to loosen it. Once the second cable was back on I tightened it back up a bit.

I'm going to try that this afternoon.

One thing that worked for me was using two vise grips, one pulling the pin out from the backing plate and the other one on the cable. Might want to give that a try before messing with the console.
Good Luck!
