  1. Colorado Xtreme Recon Rubicon suspension pull-offs

I think so, but you might want to search around the forum to see what XR take offs will be like on a JLR.
  2. Pictures of camping with your Jeep

That sounds great. This was my first time camping in Utah. I'm thinking there will be some more of that in my future!
  3. Pictures of camping with your Jeep

Stopped at Valley of the Gods a few weeks ago on my way through Utah. Turned into a really nice night. Dead silent, nobody nearby except for a few specs of light far away, warm-ish, no wind, great view of the sky. It had been a while since seeing the Milky Way so easily.
  4. Colorado Xtreme Recon Rubicon suspension pull-offs

Metalcloak 2.5" and their rocksport shocks. Yeah I got the impression that they used different springs depending on other options that changed the weight. Let me know if you need them!
  5. Colorado Xtreme Recon Rubicon suspension pull-offs

    Bump. Still available. $200
  6. Colorado Sold: Xtreme Recon Rubicon suspension pull-offs

Selling my Xtreme Recon Rubicon (2.0L, steel bumpers) suspension take offs. Asking $400 $200 for the lot, OBO. Located around Denver. Local-pickup only. This also includes the Mopar front LCA's that I temporarily installed to get my caster angle up before I pulled everything. The take-offs...
  7. 392 XR Stingray build

I just found this same little tab on my '22 2.0L JLUR XR yesterday. Good to see that the steer smarts doesn't require too much modding to work around it. The build looks good so far!
  8. Emergency Brake Reconnect Issue

Did you figure it out? Mine was a tad tighter after the relocation as well and I could only get one hooked at a time. I found a video showing how to lift just the back end of the center console up, which is where the adjustment is located, and then used a 10mm deep socket to loosen it. Once...
  9. Red Cone - New Favorite Colorado Trail

Descending from the clouds! It looks like you did the loop in your video? I went north towards Montezuma. I definitely want to do it again some time and try one of the other trails back out. That last shelf road at the end if your vid looks like some good views.
  10. Red Cone - New Favorite Colorado Trail

Red Cone was really fun! I did it last week for the first time as well. I had just finished up with my new lift and had to take it out on a few trails to play. Earlier that week I also wheeled up Mammoth Gulch and a bit farther south towards Loch Lomond, and then did Argentine Pass the next...
  11. Cast iron steering box adjustment (no wandering)

I found this youtube video "Remove *RED* Loctite WITHOUT Heat!" where the guy uses CRC Brakleen to loosen red loctite. Searching around I also found multiple brief claims that acetone would work. I have no idea if red loctite is what was used on the adjustment screw but it might be worth trying.
  12. Cast iron steering box adjustment (no wandering)

Will do. How hot do you think you got it? My better judgement is telling me not to try and fit my mapp torch down into that small space, which means I'll have to remove the whole box. Winter boredom or a bit more desperation is going to have to set in before I take it to that level.
  13. Cast iron steering box adjustment (no wandering)

Doesn't look like it's going to be so easy for me. The lock nut easily came loose but I couldn't get the adjustment screw to move. I could see and feel the hex bit starting to twist in the screw's socket so I stopped. Tried unscrewing the adjustment screw all the way so I could deal with the...
  14. Cast iron steering box adjustment (no wandering)

I was thinking about fiddling with this as well. My only concern with messing with it was not knowing how far I could safely tighten it without risking binding. Still, I'd love to see the backlash reduced if possible. I read in a few places that people had to heat up the adjustment bolt and...
  15. XR observations

I was looking at the hydraulic bump stops as well but wondered if the jounce bump stop cup could instead be recovered and welded back on after cutting down the tube. I'm not sure how the cup is attached but that might be a cheaper option.
  16. Metalcloak Bump Stops

I was just looking at the game changer install instructions and it mentioned that those pucks will just compress down as you tighten the bolt on top. Maybe it was tightened too much and is causing the stack to lean to the side?
  17. Gupton roll call and updates on 2022 orders.

Picked mine up on Tuesday afternoon. Like nearly everyone has already said, the experience in and out was smooth. I think it took about an hour. It was pretty surreal finally being there after all these months. There wasn't much downtime so I didn't take any pictures while I was there. Even...
  18. Gupton roll call and updates on 2022 orders.

Yay! Delivered! For a while the estimated delivery said 6/16. Last week it changed to 6/13. Now it's there. Things are moving along quickly! I wonder now if it makes any difference if I contact them first or wait for them to contact me.
  19. Gupton roll call and updates on 2022 orders.

Mine's built with an estimated delivery of 6/16. Hoping I can pick it up around the end of the month so I can get it home just in time for my birthday, not that earlier wouldn't be nice too.
  20. Gupton roll call and updates on 2022 orders.

My build sheet just appeared last night too! Mine's also a Sting Gray JLUR XR, ordered 2/9. Other than actually placing the order this feels like the first major milestone!
