I am planning on picking up an element fire extinguisher and would like to see how others have mounted theirs.

I used the "roll bar" bracket and some velcro wrap to mount on roll cage behind driver. I will try to snap a pic later.

Great choice! Smaller, lighter, no expiration, and works longer... what's not to like about them?

I put one under the front seat with my LifeStraw water filter and the other on the tailgate.

Mine's in my driver's door. The fanciest way to hang an Element Fire Extinguisher is, IMHO, useless, if not accessible without the driver getting out of their seat, unless, in respect to Gary @Krondor above, distal units are supplemental ones to the driver's seat accessible one. : - )

Yeah, ideal position is attached to the seat adjustment rail, an extinguisher you can’t get to fast isn’t likely to be much use.

I also have one in the back like everybody else for show lol.

I have the one in back as backup.

2 is one and 1 is none.

Also keep along front drivers seat, with a flashlight and a tomahawk.

Did it interfere with your floor mats?
I have the Mopar slush mats and it does not interfere. The mount has a lot of adjustability. You have to adjust it during installation so it does not interfere with the seat forward/backward handle for your preferred seating position.

I took the @Krondor approach and put under the front seat—- there is a perfectly sized depression in the floor in that spot for this to fit. I used the provided mountOmg clip and ran a small picture wire through the hole on the mount and the other end through a small hole in the front seat front mounting bracket. This will make sure that the fire extinguisher won’t roll under my feet while driving but still gives super easy access to the extinguisher

I've had several wheeling trips and fast stops, and it hasn't moved. Easy to access, I think it's a perfect spot and doesn't require you to run out and buy a spendy mount. :dunno:
